Halloween 2009

This Halloween, Dawson was an army guy and Kaizley was supposed to be a princess. Kaizley decided last minute to wear one of Nicole's old dance costumes. She said her princess dress was too sparkly and scratchy. Grandma and Grandpa Curtis threw their 2nd annual Halloween Party last weekend. The kids had a great time at that. We did the usual for Halloween. We went to a Stake trunk or treat in Hyrum with my family, had homemade bread and baked potato soup at my mom's for dinner, and went to visit the grandparents in Hyrum. While I was out taking pictures of my kids in their costumes on my parents porch, their neighbors tree fell over. Their neighbors weren't even home, so I of course went over and got a picture. Can I just say how much I love the whole trunk or treating. It is sooo nice to get it done in half and hour and then have the rest of the night open to do whatever we want. My parents kept the kids the rest of the night while Ryan and I went to a party at our friend's house. We played some games, visited, ate some more, and watched a scary movie. I can't even remember the last time I stayed out until 2 am. I think the only way I was awake was from all the sugar I ate.

I decided to start a photography blog. I have taken so many pictures for other people and I want to separate that from our family blog. The web address is www.amberdavisphotography.blogspot.com. Maybe someday when I get creative I will come up with a name for it. But for now, I'm just using my first and last name. I guess it's more for me so I will at least have them scrapbooked somewhere instead of on cd's.

My Favorite Season

I had to post some pictures of the leaves and a few other random pictures that I have taken lately. I'm sure whoever reads this blog gets bored of all the pictures, but I'm a picture person and I like to post them because this blog is the only scrapbooking/journaling I do. Enjoy!

Park City

This past weekend, I went with my mom and sisters to Park City with NO kids. It was so much fun to get away. We shopped the outlet malls, went to IKEA and ate at California Pizza Kitchen before we went to the Women's Conference. Park City was beautiful with the leaves changing color. When we came home the kids were all alive and well.

A few Sundays ago, we went for a ride to Porcupine Dam in Avon. I had to take a picture of a couple signs along the way. Paradise and Avon have the friendliest people. Everyone that passes you in the car waves.

Family Pics

I just love my coworker and her cute little family. I love when they ask me to take their pictures for them. They are so good to just let me take them to these random places that I find. I really haven't taken pics of anyone in forever, so I had a great time taking them.
